Mixed Media Series | Markers, Ink, and Linework

I love playing in all the creative sandboxes, but sometimes perfectionism and hesitation get in the way. This series was an experiment in letting go. Made with markers, ink, and layered linework, these works trace emotional states as they move, tangle, and bloom. Around this time, I was listening heavily to the psychedelic rock band Altın Gün, and their music shaped the energy of each piece. Every drawing captures a moment of felt experience, translated through spontaneous gestures and bursts of color. Organic forms, looping contours, and saturated hues create a visual language that turns the intangible into something a little more concrete. There is exuberance and quietude here, joy and complexity: an invitation to look closer, to feel more.
